Day in the city

Today, Lizzie brought Sarah and I into the city of Adelaide today. Grace wanted to stay back for a "Grace day". Liz brought us around the city for a bit of sight seeing, we saw some of her previous homes, and searched for Kola's in the trees.

She brought us to Windy Point, which is a great outlook view to Adelaide and Glenelg. She pointed out where the major areas in Adelaide are that we know (airport, races, building etc.) We got to see a few planes take off as well. It was a gorgeous view.

We went shopping for Australian gear to dress up for Australian day. From the sounds of it, Aussies celebrate Aussie day on January 26th like we celebrate the 4th of July in the states. We got some Australian flag earrings, bandanas, removable tats, etc. And the search isn't over.. we're excited!

Afterwards, we needed to go get Mike from their scaffolding business, Mobile Scaffolding. We hung around the office for a bit catching up with their secretary, Prue (such a sweet lady) and their son Cheyene. We searched around the office for a few games that Liz was looking for us to play, but we didn't have any luck.

On the way home, we stopped for a glass of wine and relaxation. The pub we went to had yet, even more great views.

It was an enjoyable day out in the city!
